Smithville Releases the Results of the Community Branding Initiative Survey
 

 The City of Smithville has released the Community Insights garnered through a survey conducted as part of its Branding Initiative.  The survey of community residents and stake holders was conducted in the fall of 2015.

The City undertook the Branding Initiative to define key attitudes of the City and develop an identity that will allow residents and visitors to embrace the elements that make Smithville unique.  The information was first presented to the public at a Board of Aldermen Work Session on January 5, 2016.

The report states; “Smithville is at a crossroads with its identity and future.  With a new energized leadership that is looking forward, along with new resident population, including many young families, the community is poised to overcome this challenge.”

The report includes information about Smithville’s current brand, a detailed community profile, economic development insights and other detailed community information.
