Extra Trash Bag Tags
If you have additional trash to dispose, you will need an extra trash bag tag for trash pickup. Residents may purchase trash bag tags at City Hall at the following prices:
- $1.50 per trash bag tag, or
- $6.50 / sheet for 5 trash bag tags
- Residents who would like to order the extra trash bag tags directly from GFL will be charged $7.50 / sheet for 5 Bag Tags
How To Use Extra Trash Bag Tags
- Trash bag tags are for trash use only.
- One tag is good for 1 (one), 33 (thirty-three) gallon bag.
- Each extra trash bag is not to exceed 40 pounds in weight.
- If you have several extra trash bags for pickup, each bag will need it’s own tag.
- The tag should be placed around the neck of the bag, placed at the curbside, with the tag visible to the trash truck driver.
- The bags will be picked up with your scheduled collection day.
- Bag tags are not permitted to be used on bulky items.
