Smithville Senior Services proudly serves Clay County residents aged 60 and better in partnership with Clay County Senior Services.

Activities are held inside the Smithville Activity Center, formerly named the Smithville Senior Center. Our center is a warm and welcoming place to stay active, connect with friends, and try something new. We offer a variety of fitness classes, space for games and socializing, special events, and engaging educational programs throughout the year.

Daily Meals

A nutritious, catered lunch is available Monday-Friday for just $5 (cash only). To ensure we have meals ready for everyone, reservations are required by 1:00 PM the day before you plan to dine. Monday meals must be reserved by Friday. To reserve or cancel a meal, please call 816-608-1323.

60+ Fitness Classes

Senior Fitness Classes are FREE for Clay County residents ages 60+! These classes are offered through a partnership between the City of Smithville Parks & Recreation Department and Clay County Senior Services.

Stay active, improve your strength and balance, and enjoy movement in a welcoming environment. No advance registration is required -- just come ready to move! For questions or additional details, please call Senior Services at 816-608-1323.

Smithville Meals on Wheels
Nutritious meals are delivered to eligible seniors in the Smithville city limits, helping to support health, independence, and well-being.

Facility Rentals
The Activity Center is available to rent for private parties, meetings, and special gatherings around programmed hours.
