Senior Center Services

The Smithville Senior Center proudly serves Clay County residents ages 60 and better in partnership with Clay County Senior Services.

Our center is a warm and welcoming place to stay active, connect with friends, and try something new. We offer a variety of fitness classes, space for games and socializing, special events, and engaging educational programs throughout the year.

Daily Meals

A nutritious, catered lunch is available Monday-Friday for just $5 (cash only). To ensure we have meals ready for everyone, reservations are required by 1:00 PM the day before you plan to dine. Monday meals must be reserved by Friday. To reserve or cancel a meal, please call 816-343-2073.

60+ Fitness Classes

Senior Fitness Classes are FREE for Clay County residents age 60+! These classes are offered through a partnership between the City of Smithville Parks & Recreation Department and Clay County Senior Services.

Stay active, improve your strength and balance, and enjoy movement in a welcoming environment. No advance registration is required—just come ready to move! For questions or additional details, please call the Senior Center at 816-343-2073.

Smithville Meals on Wheels
Nutritious meals delivered to eligible seniors in the Smithville area, helping support health, independence, and well-being.

Facility Rentals
The Senior Center is also available to rent for private parties, meetings, and special gatherings around programmed hours.
