Maintenance Updates
- Streets
- Helped with Lake Fest Float decorating
- Replaced stop sign and post on Murphy St
- Cleaned equipment and set up Touch-a-Truck Event
- Set up barricades for Lake Fest
- Mowed Main St
- Replaced culvert at Wildflower Pond
- Utilities
- SAK completed annual sewer rehabilitation project in the downtown area
- Total Drinking Water Production 7,237,000 gal
- Completed all testing required at the WTP
- Conducted weekly chemical level checks at the WTP for ordering
- Backwashed filters 1,2,3,4 and 5 at the WTP
- Continued working on project high service pump room rehabilitation at the WTP. Currently coating the floor.
- Completed 17 work orders and 55 locates
- Completed all testing required at WWTP
- Treated 4,405,000 gallons of wastewater
- Completed weekly checks of all booster station and towers in the distribution system
- Staff reported to the north booster station to reset the VFD
- Menke Excavating replaced 3 broken fire hydrants, Stonebridge Lane and South Commercial, 308 Woodhaven, and 19205 Eagle Parkway
- Completed grounds maintenance at the WWTP
- Staff reported to Hills of Shannon lift station to repair the vacuum prime system on pump #2
- Staff collected two E-Coli samples and delivered to KCMO labs
- Finished the installation of the filter influent chlorine analyzer
- Completed monthly disconnects for non-payment
