 FALL BULKY ITEM PICK-UP IS THIS WEEK! 🛋️🪑

Smithville’s Fall Bulky Item Pick-Up is happening September 28 – October 2!

Bulky items will be collected curbside on your regular trash collection day. Each household may set out up to FIVE (5) bulky items.

✅ ACCEPTED ITEMS INCLUDE:

  • Furniture – couches, tables, chairs, beds, etc.
  • Sinks, toilets and cabinets
  • Doors
  • Rugs and carpet – must be cut, rolled and bundled in 4-foot lengths
  • Washers and dryers
  • Refrigerators and freezers – compressors and Freon must be professionally removed, and the appliance MUST have a sticker showing this has been completed.

Please make sure all items are properly stacked and bundled for collection.

Parking lot behind Smithville City Hall

Bring your remaining eligible bulky items and we’ll help you get rid of them!

You must be a Smithville resident with provide proof of address.

🚫 WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

  • E-waste – computers, televisions, monitors, etc.
  • Glass items – windows, shower doors, etc.
  • Tires
  • Automobile parts
  • Construction materials
  • Tanks or drums
  • Railroad ties
  • Household hazardous waste – pool or yard chemicals, insecticides, paint, automotive fluids, liquids, etc.

So clean out that basement, garage or spare room and take advantage of Bulky Item Pick-Up this week!
